Getting Started
This tool converts CSV files to various Excel formats including XLSX, XLS, and ODS with advanced features.
How to Use
- Upload: Drag and drop CSV files or click the upload area to browse
- Configure: Set your preferred options in the Conversion Options panel
- Preview: View your data in the preview section before conversion
- Convert: Click "Convert to Excel" to process your files
- Download: Download the converted Excel file
Conversion Options
- Output Format: Choose between XLSX, XLS, ODS, or CSV
- Delimiter: Auto-detect or select a specific delimiter (comma, semicolon, tab, pipe, or custom)
- Encoding: Select the character encoding of your CSV file
- Header Row: Treat the first row as column headers
- Auto-fit Columns: Automatically adjust column widths
- Data Type Formatting: Automatically format numbers, dates, and other data types
- Excel Styling: Apply professional styling to the output
Advanced Features
- Split Large CSV: Break large files into multiple sheets (specify rows per sheet)
- Merge Multiple CSVs: Combine multiple CSV files into one Excel workbook
- Add Formulas: Include sample Excel formulas in the output
- Create Pivot Table: Generate a pivot table summary of your data
- Freeze Header: Keep the header row visible while scrolling
- Add Filters: Enable Excel auto-filters on the header row
Batch Processing
Upload multiple CSV files at once for batch conversion. Use the "Merge multiple CSVs" option to combine them into a single workbook, or convert each file separately.

Tips
- For best results, ensure your CSV files have consistent delimiters
- Use the preview feature to verify data before conversion
- Large files may take longer to process - be patient

Troubleshooting
- If data appears garbled, try different encoding options
- For incorrect column separation, manually specify the delimiter
- Memory issues may occur with very large files - try splitting them
